Today was my first garden share delivery. It’s the spring share and the weather has been totally uncooperative so there wasn’t a lot of any one thing but a nice variety I hope for those who are anxious to get eating fresh.
I baked 6 loaves of bread – 3 gluten free. These breads are add ons to the spring garden share. This week featured English Muffin Bread and Batter Bread for those who are gluten free.
The produce included: jerusalem artichoke, parsnips, carrots, kale, spinach, soil sprouts, apples, potatoes, beets and leeks. Some things there were not enough to go around so all bags were weighed and things distributed evenly.
I loved seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
I’m truly blessed and grateful for all my “share holders.”
Total time spent today was 6 hours. This is just a note to self!
